At Spa Luxe, we believe exceptional care begins with understanding your individual needs.
We’re pleased to partner with Truemed, making it possible for qualified guests to explore using their Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) funds toward eligible services.
Through a simple health assessment reviewed by an independent licensed practitioner, you may qualify for reimbursement of certain medically necessary treatments.
*Eligibility is determined individually. Not all Spa Luxe services qualify.
Exploring your HSA/FSA benefits is straightforward with Truemed.
Visit Spa Luxe’s Truemed page and follow the instructions to complete a confidential health survey. An independent licensed practitioner reviews your information to determine whether your intended service meets medical necessity requirements.
If you qualify, you’ll receive access to a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN), supporting the use of HSA/FSA funds for the eligible service.
Schedule your qualifying treatment at Spa Luxe and pay using your regular credit or debit card. Keep your itemized receipt for your records.
Submit your LMN and Spa Luxe receipt to your HSA/FSA account administrator according to your plan’s reimbursement instructions.
A Health Savings Account (HSA) and a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) allow eligible individuals to use tax-advantaged funds for qualifying healthcare expenses. Specific rules, account balances, and reimbursement requirements depend on the type of account and applicable plan.
Spa Luxe has partnered with Truemed to help qualified guests explore HSA/FSA reimbursement for eligible services. However, not every treatment qualifies, and eligibility is assessed individually.
A Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) is documentation issued by an independent licensed practitioner explaining why a particular service may be medically necessary for your health condition. It can be used to support an HSA/FSA reimbursement claim.
Not automatically. Treatments performed solely to improve appearance are generally considered cosmetic expenses and typically do not qualify. Medical necessity and the specific purpose of a treatment determine whether an expense may be eligible.
Under Spa Luxe’s current Truemed reimbursement process, guests pay for their appointment using a regular credit or debit card. Qualified guests may then submit their documentation to their HSA/FSA administrator to request reimbursement.
No. An independent licensed practitioner determines whether a Letter of Medical Necessity is appropriate. Your HSA/FSA administrator makes the final decision regarding reimbursement.
Processing times vary by HSA/FSA administrator. Once you receive your documentation, follow your administrator’s claim submission process to check the status of your reimbursement.
